Dr. Colleen Stratton is a native of Oak Lawn, Illinois. She graduated from Knox College in Galesburg, Illinois with a B.A. in biology. In 1994, Dr. Stratton received her EMT-A certification from Christ Hospital and Medical Center. She went on to study pharmacology and toxicology at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City, Utah from 1994-1995. In 1996, she began studies at the National College of Chiropractic (NCC) in Lombard, Illinois. Dr. Stratton received her B.S. in Human Biology from NCC in 1997 and received her D.C. degree with honors in April 1999. Dr. Stratton completed her post doctorate certification in acupuncture in May 2000. She also has her certification from the Academy of Chiropractic Family Practice Council on Chiropractic Pediatrics. She is currently studying for her 3 year post doctoral Diplomate of Chiropractic Pediatrics. Dr. Stratton is a member of the American Chiropractic Association, the Illinois Chiropractic Society, and the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association. Dr. Stratton and her husband, Christopher, have been living in Waterloo since October 1999. They have a seven-year-old daughter, Eden, a four-year-old son, Morgan, and an two-year-old son, Garrett, who keep them focused on the family. |
